Two engines are available on 2019 Ram 2500 heavy duty pickup trucks, including a 6.4-liter V8 gas engine that produces a best-in-class 410 horsepower and a new 6.7-liter Cummins turbodiesel engine that delivers 400 horsepower and 1,000 pound-feet of torque. The new Ram 3500 offers both of those engines, plus an available 6.7-liter Cummins high-output turbodiesel motor. These engines also include the latest cylinder-deactivation technology for improved efficiency. When properly equipped, the Ram 2500 can tow up to 19,780 pounds and haul up to 4,050 pounds. The 3500 is even more capable, with a class-leading towing capacity of 35,100 pounds and best-in-class payload capacity of 7,680 pounds
The 2019 Ram heavy duty trucks not only help you do more work, but they also keep you comfortable while you're doing it. Mega Cab models boast 43 inches of rear-seat legroom, 8 inches of storage space behind the rear seat and class-exclusive forward fold-flat rear seats that can recline up to 15 degrees so you can stretch out and relax. Active noise cancellation keeps the new Ram heavy duty trucks nice and quiet inside, you can enjoy the stereo system better. They have a re-imagined center console that includes space for a 15-inch laptop, a wide cell phone/tablet docking area, available wireless charging, and a three-position sliding cup holder tray that can be stowed under the center armrest. To make towing easier, a 360-degree camera system is available through the Ram heavy duty trucks' infotainment system. It includes a bed camera, and it can be linked to a wireless camera you can mount on the back of a trailer. It can also display camera angles on both sides of a trailer simultaneously when backing. Ram heavy duty pickup trucks also have a wide array of available safety features, including forward collision warning with active braking, adaptive cruise control, and blind spot monitoring.
